Actively listen and acknowledge other’s viewpoints.  Be respectful, patient and recognize the value of everyone’s job-if you need someone’s help, realize that they have their priorities.  Be sensitive to each other’s values, cultures, beliefs and orientation-reap the richness of the wide diversity of people around you.  Be friendly and thoughtful to all around you.

Teamwork

Recognize others contributions and successes.  Cooperate with fellow staff members and support their efforts.  Support decisions that are made with the agencies overall best interest in mind.  Don’t take ourselves too seriously-sometimes we just need to have fun.

Creativity

Encourage thinking “outside the job.”  Encourage discussion around points of disagreement or uncertainty.  Challenge the status quo.  Envision the possibilities-dream big!  Everyone should be allowed to experiment, fail and try again.
